Bobby Witt Jr. Stays Hot Saturday
Bobby Witt Jr. doubled thrice on Saturday, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and 2 runs scored. The stud rookie has been on a tear at the dish, going 10-for-23 with seven extra-base hits in his last five games. Witt Jr. got off to a disappointing start in April with a .558 OPS, but in May he is the owner of an impressive .852 OPS. This is more of what fantasy managers expected when they drafted him as a top 100 pick, and now that Witt Jr. has figured out major league pitching, expect that value to keep looking better.

Bobby Witt Jr. Has Three-Hit Day
Bobby Witt Jr. was a tough out at the plate during Sunday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Witt went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, and run scored in the victory over the O's. This marked Witt's first three-hit game of the season and it likely won't be his last. Witt has collected a hit in every game, but one so far this season. The 24-year-old is one of the best hitters in the league and should make a case for MVP this season. He hasn't been an elite fantasy option early in the season, but this game could be Witt finally turning the corner.

Bobby Witt Jr. Back In Cactus League Lineup On Saturday
Bobby Witt Jr. (forearm) is back in the team's split-squad Cactus League lineup on Saturday against the division-rival Cleveland Guardians, starting at shortstop and batting second. It comes just several days after Witt had an injury scare in Wednesday's spring game against the Seattle Mariners, when he was hit by a pitch on his left forearm by reliever Andres Munoz. The 24-year-old All-Star was pulled from the game and underwent X-rays, which thankfully came back negative. Witt took it easy the last few days and luckily escaped with only a bruised left forearm. He's now back in the lineup and will be fine for Opening Day in a couple of weeks. Witt returns to a .276/.364/.586 slash line in spring training with two home runs and four RBI in 11 games. He's in play as the first overall pick in fantasy drafts.
