2 years agoThe Cleveland Guardians released outfielder Anthony Alford from his minor league contract on Wednesday. Following his release, he signed a deal worth $577,000 with the KT Wiz of the Korea Baseball Organization. Alford came up as a top prospect in the Toronto Blue Jays' organization about five years back. He's had trouble finding consistency in the majors.
