Jakob Junis Earns Win Wednesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Jakob Junis earned his second win of the season Wednesday, throwing six strong innings against the New York Mets. Junis held the Mets to just two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out four, giving him his first quality start of the year. Junis has appeared in six games on the campaign, with the four most recent being starts. He has completed at least five innings in all six outings, and he has only allowed more than two earned runs once. Junis is positioned to continue in the rotation going forward, and he could make for a solid streaming option in two-start weeks and favorable matchups.
