3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (calf) is set to undergo an MRI on his right calf on Wednesday morning. The 32-year-old exited Tuesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles due to right calf tightness. The results of the MRI will help give us an indication of how much time Stanton could miss - if any. The veteran has launched 11 home runs over 40 games so far this year while slashing .285/.339/.523. Joey Gallo, who is currently on the COVID-19 injured list, could stand to see extra playing time upon his return if Stanton winds up on the injured list.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
