Fernando Tatis Jr. Still Not Ready To Swing A Bat
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist) underwent a bone scan on his left wrist on Monday. The results showed that the bone still has some healing to do. As a result, he has not yet been cleared to start swinging a bat. He will have another bone scan soon, but a specific date for the next scan has not yet been determined. This news is a bit disappointing, but shouldn't change Tatis's timeline a ton. We may be looking at a late June/early July type of return for the 23-year-old, but his timeline will become more clear as his baseball activities begin to ramp up.
