3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. will be on the bench for Tuesday's game against right-hander Jordan Hicks and the St. Louis Cardinals. Raimel Tapia is getting the start in left field and batting ninth in the game. Gurriel seems to be falling out of favor due to his early struggles. He was on the bench Sunday, then he batted eighth in Monday's game and now he's sitting for the second time in three games. Over 39 games on the year, the 28-year-old is slashing .225/.273/.326 with two home runs, 12 RBI and 13 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
