Bobby Witt Jr. Scores A Pair Of Runs Thursday
3 years agoKansas City Royals third baseman Bobby Witt Jr. crossed home plate twice in Thursday's game, but it wasn't enough to beat the Chicago White Sox, who won the game 7-4. Overall, he went 1-for-4 with a double and a strikeout. The young infielder hasn't shown what made him a top prospect coming into the season, as he's hitting just .225 with four home runs, 15 RBI, and 18 runs. The only thing making Witt Jr. rosterable is his five stolen bases. However, if he continues to struggle, fantasy managers in shallower leagues can find other sources of speed who contribute more offensively.
