Logan Webb Posts Quality Start At Coors Field Wednesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb turned in a quality start at the league's toughest pitching venue, Coors Field, on Wednesday. He pitched seven innings and allowed four hits, two walks and three earned runs while striking out six Rockies. He wound up with a no decision. Through eight starts this year, Webb is 5-1 with a 3.54 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. His strikeout rate is down substantially from 26.5% last year to 17% this year. The strides he made in strikeouts last year helped fuel his breakout 2021 campaign, so he'll likely need to start missing more bats soon to remain a high-end fantasy pitcher.
