Jake Odorizzi Receives Good News From MRI
3 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (leg) received promising results from his MRI. The exam showed some strains and sprains of some ligaments around his ankle and foot, but there was no fracture detected. Odorizzi originally feared that he had ruptured his Achilles tendon, but luckily that is not the case. The veteran stated that the MRI results were a "best case scenario." While a timeline for his return is unclear at this point, his injury is not of the season-ending variety. And to add to the good news, he's also off crutches.
