LaMonte Wade Jr. Out Of The Lineup On Tuesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Chad Kuhl and the Colorado Rockies. Darin Ruf is getting the start in left field and Tommy La Stella is leading off in the game. Wade served as the team's leadoff hitter in each of the previous five games before this one. The 28-year-old has a strong .387 on-base percentage over nine games this year thanks to some fantastic plate discipline. He currently has a 16.1% strikeout rate and an identical walk rate. As is the case with all Giants hitters, Wade will get his share of days out of the lineup, but he should continue to be in the lineup more often than not going forward.
