Aaron Hicks Taking A Seat On Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Spenser Watkins and the Baltimore Orioles. Aaron Judge will be shifting over to cover center field for the game. Hicks has been ice cold at the plate so far in May. Over 13 games this month, he's slashing .100/.265/.125 with just one extra-base hit, a double. Hicks started the year out strong with a .306/.426/.367 slash line in April before this recent cold stretch. He's stolen five bases already this year, but we expect his stolen base pace to slow down substantially as he only had a total of five stolen bases across the past three seasons. Hicks should be rostered in most AL-only leagues and five-outfielder leagues, but can remain on waivers in most shallow leagues.
