Raisel Iglesias Once Again An Elite Fantasy Closer
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels closer Raisel Iglesias is once again among fantasy baseball's best closers this season. The veteran has pitched to a 4.05 ERA and a 3.78 FIP in 13.1 innings this season. He's also logged eight saves while striking out 16 batters and walking just four. The ERA may seem unideal, but it's largely due to Iglesias' only blown save of the season when he surrendered three earned runs and a home run while recording just two outs against Oakland on Saturday. Prior to that, he had logged a 2.13 ERA and a 2.55 FIP in 12.2 innings of work. With the Angels sporting a 24-13 record as of the beginning of play Monday and looking like a postseason contender, Iglesias could have a chance to top his 34 saves from last season.
