Chris Paddack Lands On Injured List With Elbow Inflammation
3 years agoThe Minnesota Twins placed starting pitcher Chris Paddack (elbow) on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. The move is retroactive to May 9. The 26-year-old is dealing with right elbow inflammation. The injury caused him to exit his start on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics early. The team is currently seeking multiple medical opinions on his elbow and there's a chance that surgery could be required. Paddack has made five starts this year while pitching to a 4.03 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. He can certainly be left on waivers in all shallow leagues and if surgery winds up being his path, he'll be an easy drop in all deep season-long leagues as well.
