Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (undisclosed) was a late scratch for Sunday's game against the Dodgers and was placed on the injured list with an undisclosed condition, per Cubs writer Andy Martinez. This type of transaction has typically been used for COVID-19-related issues. As there is no designation, Stroman can theoretically be activated at any time. Justin Steele will make the start instead.
