Dillon Brooks Suspended For Game 3
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small forward Dillon Brooks has been suspended for Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Golden State Warriors. Brooks was ejected from Game 2 of the series after committing a flagrant 2 foul on Warriors guard Gary Payton II (elbow). Payton broke his elbow during the incident. Brooks has been seeing about 30 minutes per game this postseason. He averaged 16.5 points and 2.2 three-pointers per game in the team's first round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Kyle Anderson and Ziaire Williams are potential candidates to take Brooks' spot in the starting lineup. We could also see the team lean more heavily on De'Anthony Melton in his usual reserve role.
