D.L. Hall Promoted To Double-A
3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles promoted pitching prospect D.L. Hall from High-A to Double-A on Thursday. The left-hander is being eased into the 2022 season by the organization. He missed the majority of the second half of the 2021 season due to a stress reaction in his left elbow. He made just one appearance at High-A, pitching four innings and allowing two hits, no walks and no runs while striking out six. Hall struck out 56 batters over 31.2 innings at Double-A last year (15.9 K/9) while pitching to a 3.13 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP. The 23-year-old is rated as the team's fifth overall prospect by MLB Pipeline. There's a chance we could see him make his MLB debut this year.
