Jose Altuve Exits Wednesday's Game With Groin Injury
3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (groin) was removed in the fifth inning of Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He fouled a ball off his groin and looked to be in a good amount of pain, but he stayed in the game and wound up getting a hit in the same at-bat in which he hurt himself. He ran the bases and scored a run, but he was lifted in the fifth inning as Niko Goodrum came in to play second base. Altuve was 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored in the game before exiting. Stay tuned for further updates on his status.
