Evan Longoria Goes 1-For-3 In First Rehab Outing
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (finger) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday. He went 1-for-3 in the game and scored a run. The 36-year-old underwent surgery on his finger back in March. While we don't have a clear timeline for him at this point, his rehab debut on Tuesday was certainly a big step towards his 2022 debut with the Giants. Jason Vosler has been filling in as the team's third baseman lately, but he'll be taking on a reserve role or he'll be sent to Triple-A once Longoria is back.
