3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) has been activated from the 10-day injured list. He will be hitting out of the leadoff spot for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Altuve was sidelined for about two weeks due to a strained left hamstring. Niko Goodrum and Aledmys Diaz shared second base duties while Altuve was out. Both players will see a big decrease in playing time now that Altuve is back. Altuve has yet to settle in at the plate this year. Through nine games, he's slashing .167/.268/.250 with just one extra-base hit, a home run.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
