3 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens selected Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday. This could be one of the sneaky best picks of the first round. Linderbaum has a wrestling background and understands how to get leverage against other big bodies on the line. The 22-year-old was easily the best center in this year's class, but his shorter arms and smaller size (296 pounds), so he's unlikely to move to a guard spot down the road in the NFL. He'll help fill a position that the Ravens struggled with in 2021, so Linderbaum should be hiking the ball to quarterback Lamar Jackson right away in his first season.
