DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/29/22): Today's Top MLB DFS Lineups

Paul Goldschmidt - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Picks

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on April 29th, 2022. Brian Entrekin's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

Welcome back to another edition of the FREE DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks. Today we have a massive 13-game slate on tap. There are some solid pitching options but no aces, so we shouldn't have to pay a premium for pitching. On the other hand, there are plenty on a slate of this size for the bats. The chalk of all chalk will be the Reds, who are incredibly mis-priced.

It's a large slate meaning there will be a lot of ways to build tonight. The main pitching will be Megill, and then the targets should be spread out. With the mispricing of Montas on DK, that should gain a lot of roster shares as well. Coors is a great spot when it comes to bats, but there are many great options to stack up. Three are listed below, but the Yankees and others are all in great spots. Listen in to MLB DFS Quick Hits for a full slate breakdown.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for Fanduel and DraftKings on 4/29/2022. The lineup will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Frankie Montas - P, OAK vs. CLE ($8,100 DK, $10,200 FD)

Montas has been outstanding over his last three starts, and that should continue tonight. He has struck out at least five batters in every start this year. Over his previous three starts, he has thrown at least six innings while also allowing two runs or less. Montas also limits damage on the season by allowing a 4.7% barrel rate and 39.1% hard-hit rate to go with an outstanding 15% SwStr and 22.3% K-BB. Montas has been great and tonight gets a nice matchup versus Cleveland in pitcher-friendly O. Co Stadium. The Guardians have been pesky from time to time, but Montas will be one of my top targets tonight, especially on DK, where he is severely mis-priced.

Adam Wainwright - P, STL vs. AZ ($9,400 DK, $8,500 FD)

Wainwright has thrown two excellent starts this year and two not-so-nice starts. He has struck out six or more in three of four starts with a 45% groundball rate and 16.5% K-BB. Wainwright only allows 34% hard contact and a ton of contact, so it has been a hit-and-miss start to the season. Tonight should be a hit kind of night as he takes on the DBacks. A DBacks team is striking out 26.5% of the time versus RHP this season while hitting .187 with a .138 ISO. Wainwright is an excellent value on FD as he should be good for 6+ innings and a quality start. On DK, he is pricier, and I hope that turns people away from one of the top options tonight.

Other options: Nestor Cortes at KC ($10,000 DK, $10,000 FD), Tylor Megill vs. PHI ($9,800 DK, $9,000 FD), Alex Wood vs. WAS ($8,700 DK, $9,500 FD), Dylan Bundy at TB ($8,300 DK, $8,200 FD), Kyle Bradish vs BOS ($4,000 DK, N/A FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Paul Goldschmidt - 1B, STL vs. Madison Bumgarner ($4,700 DK, $3,500 FD)

It was a slow start to the season for Goldy, but no one would know after his last week of action. He brings a seven-game hitting streak into tonight's game. He is hitting .500 over the streak with an 8% barrel rate and 44% hard-hit rate. The power has not arrived, as he only has two doubles over that stretch, but it will come sooner than later. Tonight, Goldy faces the lefty Bumgarner, which could be the ticket to running the power train. Goldy has crushed LHP in his career. Last season he hit .350 versus LHP with a .301 ISO and 1.063 OPS. So let's all have some GOLDDDDDDY tonight.

Jonathan India - 2B, CIN at Antonio Senzatela ($3,500 DK, $3,400 FD)

India returned from the IL a few games ago and continues to hit. He has hits in each of his three games since he returned and now has hits in eight of ten games this season. India is hitting .256 with only two extra-base hits, which isn't great, but he's hitting, and that's all that matters heading into Coors tonight. He will face Senzatela tonight who allowed five runs in his last start and has now allowed ten runs over his first 13.1 innings. The biggest kicker is the lack of strikeouts for Senzatela, which will lead to a lot of balls in play for the Reds. A Reds team that is far too cheap on DK. India makes for a great play tonight and one of the main pieces in a Reds stack.

Rafael Devers- 3B, BOS at Kyle Bradish ($4,900 DK, $3,900 FD)

Devers is quietly having a great start to the season. He has hit safely in all but two games this season and brings a five-game hitting streak into action tonight. He is hitting .277 with nine extra-base hits with three home runs. Devers is barreling the ball 10.3% of the time with a 55.9% hard-hit rate to go with his .181 ISO. Devers and the Red Sox have a nice matchup tonight against Bradish, who will be making his MLB debut. This season, Bradish has been solid in triple-A, but he faces a tough one against the Red Sox tonight.

Dansby Swanson- SS, ATL at Garrett Richards ($2,800 DK, $2,900 FD)

Swanson's bat appears to be waking up with hits in three straight games and five of his last six. Last night, he had a combo meal (homer and a steal) and has two extra-base hits with two steals over the previous six games. He is hitting .389 with an 18.2% walk rate, .278 ISO, and a 1.167 OPS. Swanson is still striking out nearly 32% of the time, which is less than ideal, but the production is there for now. To drive home Swanson's value tonight in a great matchup is that he is barreling the ball 18.2% of the time with a 54.5% hard-hit rate over the last six games. The Braves are a great stack tonight, and Swanson is far too cheap. He hits at the bottom of the order, making for an incredible wrap-around piece with Ronald Acuña and company.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Giancarlo Stanton- OF, NYY at Kris Bubic ($4,600 DK, $3,100 FD)

Stanton is not a player; he crushes a lot. He only has three home runs this season with a .143 ISO, but that will not stop me tonight. His 23.4% barrel rate and 53.2% hard-hit rate, not to mention his career success versus LHP, has my full attention. Stanton and the Yankees face Bubic tonight who allowed five runs in his last start and has now allowed 11 runs over seven innings this season. To make things better, last season Bubic RHH hit .251 with a .430 SLG and 1.5 HR/9. The Yankees are again in a smash spot, and Stanton comes in too cheap for this matchup.

Kyle Tucker - OF, HOU at Yusei Kikuchi ($4,100 DK, $3,000)

Most are probably sick of hearing it but keep playing Tucker as he is far too cheap. The season started horribly, but all of Tucker's underlying stats pointed to a return to excellence. The return is in full force on the DFS sites that have not adjusted their pricing. Tucker has hit safely in five of six games heading into tonight's game with two home runs and a stolen base. He will take on the lefty Kikuchi tonight, but do not let that scare you as Tucker hit .286 with a .292 ISO and .910 OPS versus LHP last season. KEEP PLAYING A TOO CHEAP TUCKER!!!!!

Luis Gonzalez- OF, SF vs. Anibal Sanchez ($3,100 DK, $2,500 FD)

With Joc Pederson leaving with an injury on Wednesday and likely heading to the IL, look for Gonazalez to receive more playing time, especially versus RHP. He has been productive in his small sample so far, with hits in all five games he has started. Gonzalez is hitting .316 with two extra-base hits and is only striking out 9.5% of the time. In the minors, Gonzalez showcased a little power and some speed which may bring some fantasy goodness. He brings a nice value tonight in a great matchup versus Anibal, so use Gonzalez as a one-off or a part of a great Giants' stack.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Cincinnati Reds at Colorado Rockies (Antonio Senzatela, RHP)

Pretty straightforward here, Coors Field, and far too cheap, especially on DK. Most of the Reds bats are below $3K on DK, so load up. They will be extremely chalky, but it will be chalk that is hard to pass up. I will not go all-in on the Reds, but I will have a stack or two with the horrible mispricing.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (Madison Bumgarner, LHP)

Mad Bum brings a nice ERA and whatnot into tonight's game, but a lot of the success has been done with smoke and mirrors. Look into Goldy, Nolan Arenado, Tyler O'Neil, and Tommy Edman in what is hopefully a sneakier Cardinals stack tonight.

San Francisco Giants vs. Washington Nationals (Anibal Sanchez, RHP)

The Giants are rarely a popular stack, and the main pieces of Brandon Belt and Brandon Crawford are a bit pricey. That is fine as they face Anibal in a game where the Giants should rake. Outside of the Brandons, who should be in your stacks, the rest of the stack is quite affordable, so load up the late-night hammer.

There are a lot of quality stacks tonight on such a large slate.
