3 years agoThe New Orleans Saints selected Northern Iowa offensive tackle Trevor Penning with the No. 19 overall pick of the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday evening. Penning was a dominant presence on the offensive line in his three college seasons, and he's a big man at 6-foot-7 and 333 pounds. The 22-year-old is a raw prospect, however, and he will need to be coached up by the Saints as he moves to the next level. If everything breaks right, he has the tools to become a starting-caliber tackle for the Saints. With their first pick in the first round, New Orleans made a splash by trading up to No. 11 to take speedy wide receiver Chris Olave out of Ohio State.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
