3 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies will be batting fifth in Thursday night's game against Drew Smyly and the Chicago Cubs. Star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (knee) will be making his highly-anticipated 2022 debut in the game and he's taking over as the team's leadoff hitter. Albies slotted into the leadoff spot in 16 of the team's first 19 games. If he remains in the No. 5 spot throughout the year, he won't see as many at-bats as he would from the leadoff or No. 2 spot, but he should get ample RBI opportunities from the heart of the order. The 25-year-old is off to a nice start to the 2022 season, slashing .240/.314/.533 with six home runs, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
