Starling Marte Records His 300th Career Stolen Base
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte achieved a career milestone during the team's 6-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. He stole the 300th base of his MLB career in the game. The 11-year veteran has been an elite stolen base threat since first entering the league in 2012. Last year, he led the majors with 47 stolen bases, matching his career-high, which he initially set back in 2016. Marte has four stolen bases over 15 games this year. He's slashing .254/.319/.381 and he's also compiled two home runs, 13 RBI and 11 runs.
