3 years agoOn Sunday, Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers told the media that an MRI has confirmed that star center Joel Embiid (thumb) has a torn ligament in his right thumb. Rivers also reiterated that the torn ligament won't change Embiid's availability for the postseason. The seven-footer is currently averaging 26.0 points and 11.8 rebounds per game this postseason. He has the 76ers up 3-1 against the Toronto Raptors right now and he'll be looking to close the series out in Monday's Game 5.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
