3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (groin) suffered a groin injury during this past Thursday's game while running out a ground ball. He wound up sitting out Friday's game and he isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game either. White Sox manager Tony La Russa gave an update on Robert's status on Friday. He said that the MRI results showed what the team was hoping for, suggesting a stint on the injured list may not be needed. La Russa said that Robert would not play this weekend and made it sound as if there's a chance he could be back on Tuesday, after the team is off on Monday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
