Aaron Judge Homers Twice In Win Over Guardians
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge carried the offense in the team's 4-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians on Friday. The 6'7" slugger went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs in the game, tallying three RBI in total. Through 14 games on the year, Judge is slashing .280/.368/.540 with three home runs, five RBI and seven runs scored. While those numbers are nothing to scoff at, his underlying metrics are far more impressive. He has a .312 xBA and a .703 xSLG. He's recorded a barrel on 25% of his batted balls and he has a 58.3% hard-hit rate. It certainly looks like the 29-year-old will be putting up gaudy power numbers once again this year.
