Nathaniel Lowe Goes 3-For-5 In Thursday's Win
3 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe helped lead the team to an 8-6 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Thursday. He went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in the game. The 26-year-old is off to a hot start to the 2022 season. Over 12 games, he's slashing .396/.431/.458 with seven RBI. He has yet to hit his first home run this year, but he's making much more consistent contact than previous years. Last year, he had a 25.2% strikeout rate and a .236 xBA. This year so far, his strikeout rate is just 13.7% and he has an xBA of .343, which ranks in the 96th percentile. Lowe also got off to a strong start last year, but really cooled off as the year went on. We'll see if he can sustain this year's hot start throughout the 2022 campaign.
