Francisco Lindor Goes 3-For-5, Hits His Fourth Home Run
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor had a strong day at the plate in the team's 6-2 win over the San Francisco Giants on Thursday. He went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored. He also attempted a steal, but he was thrown out. The 28-year-old is off to a great start to his second season in a Mets jersey. Over 14 games, he's slashing .308/.419/.615 with four home runs, three stolen bases, 10 RBI and 12 runs. After his strikeout rate ballooned up to 18.3% last year, it's been nice to see him only strike out seven times over the first two weeks of the 2022 campaign.
