Max Fried Tosses Seven Scoreless Innings Against Dodgers
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried had his best start of the young season on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 28-year-old pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out eight. He earned his first win of the year as the Braves captured a 3-1 victory. This was an extremely impressive and encouraging outing for Fried, who had allowed seven earned runs across 11 innings during his first two starts of the year. He'll now bring a much improved 3.50 ERA and 1.00 WHIP into his next start against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday.
