DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/20/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Giannis Antetokounmpo - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on April 20th, 2022. Max Kulish provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Wednesday RotoBallers! Welcome to a playoff edition of the Wednesday night top plays. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, with rotations getting shortened and the slate being so small, there probably isn't going to be a ton of leverage to be found, so consider these suggestions GPP viable as well (some exceptions may apply).

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/20/22. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

As always, feel free to follow my Twitter (@Maxadelphia), to keep up to date with NBA news and for my nightly NBA bets if you're into that sort of thing. Let's go!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Tyrese Maxey - PG, PHI @ TOR ($6,900 DK, $7,500 FD)

Maxey has posted 48+ fantasy points in each of the first two games and has taken the second-most total shot attempts for the Sixers so far this series (behind Joel Embiid). Highlighted by his 38-point Game 1 performance, Maxey is being treated as the Sixers' #2 scoring option currently and is wildly mispriced in my opinion.

Marcus Smart - PG, BOS vs BKN ($5,800 DK, $6,500 FD)

Smart was excellent in Game 1 for the Celtics on both ends of the court. In 36 minutes in Game 1, Smart posted 42 fantasy points on a 20/7/6 with 2 steals, for a total of 42 fantasy points, which equates to about 7x value on his Wednesday night pricing. Also, if you're into narratives (like I am), Smart just won Defensive Player of the Year and will probably accept the award in front of his home crowd.

Coby White - PG/SG, CHI @ MIL ($3,900 DK, $3,800 FD)

In game 1 White played 23 minutes, which is the main thing I have my eye on here. Pretty much anyone under $4k isn't seeing too much of the floor, and White is the only one who played 20+ minutes. Playoff slates are all about not getting burnt by the cheap guys you play, and I think White makes for an excellent piece this evening.

Others to consider: Fred VanVleet ($7,500 DK, $7,800), Seth Curry ($4,500 DK, $4,700 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF/PF,  ($10,900 DK, $11,400 FD)

Bucks/Bulls Game 1 was absolutely one to forget, but Game 2 brings us a 117.5 team total for the Bucks. The Bucks had actually lost 6 of their last 8 Game 1's, and it shouldn't be a surprise that the defending champs didn't exactly get up for the first game of the playoffs. To be blunt: I think the Bucks are in a great spot to be dominant tonight, and that so often starts with Giannis.

Jayson Tatum - SF/PF, BOS vs BKN ($9,500 DK, $9,900 FD)

Tatum is the unquestionable #1 option for Boston, and he delivered on offense in Game 1. Tatum posted 53 fantasy points in the opening game but strangely caught a $500 price decrease. Forward is absolutely stacked at the top tonight, so it's hard to go wrong, but Tatum provides a huge ceiling and some potential savings.

Danny Green - SF, PHI @ TOR ($3,500 DK, $4,100 FD)

Green has started the first two games of the series, and played 38 minutes in Game 2! With Matisse Thybulle's wholistic medicine upbringing preventing him from playing in the great country of Canada, Green will continue to start and play a large role. Also, I imagine Green's ownership will end up very high, potentially the highest on the slate.

Others to consider: Kevin Durant ($10,000 DK, $10,800 FD), Chris Boucher ($4,500 DK $5,000 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Joel Embiid - C, PHI @ TOR ($10,600 DK, $10,400 FD)

I didn't intend on having 3 Sixers featured, but here we are. Embiid is the only center with a slate-breaking ceiling, have fun choosing your star player(s) tonight, because this is the slate for it.

Nicolas Claxton - C, BKN @ BOS ($4,700 DK, $5,700 FD)

Claxton has emerged into a key piece of the Nets' rotation, playing starter minutes off the bench. Claxton played 31 minutes in Game 1 against Boston, and he played 29 minutes in the play-in game against Cleveland. He's responded by posting back-to-back 32+ fantasy point performances. Claxton isn't going to have plays called for him, but he fits his role on the team perfectly and is reaping the rewards for doing so.

Others to consider: Pascal Siakim ($9,000 DK, $9,000 FD)
