Mike Clevinger Scheduled For Final Rehab Start Tuesday
3 years agoSan Diego Padres pitcher Mike Clevinger (knee) is scheduled to make his final rehab start Tuesday for Triple-A El Paso. Last Thursday, he allowed one hit while striking out five across two scoreless innings in a rehab start with Low-A Lake Elsinore. The 31-year-old had no setbacks and was impressive in his rehab outing, landing 24-of-31 pitches for strikes and fanning five of six batters he faced. Barring any setbacks, Clevinger will return to action in early May. He posted a 3.02 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 40:14 K: BB over 41 innings in the shortened 2020 campaign. Fantasy managers should continue to stash the Padres ace in all league formats, but he could be limited in his few starts.
