Sonny Gray Day-to-Day With Hamstring Tightness
3 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Sonny Gray (hamstring) is day-to-day with a tight hamstring. He exited Saturday's start early against the Boston Red Sox with a tight hamstring. The 32-year-old allowed two runs on one hit while striking out one over 1 2/3 innings before leaving. The right-hander's status for his next start is up in the air as the Twins will monitor his hamstring issue within the upcoming days. Gray owns a 5.68 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and five strikeouts across 6 1/3 frames in 2022. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation but have a backup plan in place if Gray can't make his next scheduled start.
