Adalberto Mondesi Swipes Two Bags On Thursday
3 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi had his first two-steal game of the year in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers. He now has three stolen bases over six games on the year. Unfortunately, the stolen bases have been his lone contribution for fantasy managers thus far. He's gone just 3-for-21 at the plate with two walks, six strikeouts and no extra-base hits. Mondesi has the ability to be an absolute gem in rotisserie leagues and head-to-head categories league due to his elite stolen base potential. However, he'll need to increase his on-base percentage to something well above his current .217 OBP in order to both stick in the Royals' lineup and consistently provide fantasy managers with those highly-valued steals.
