3 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman Nick Madrigal will be getting his first day off of the season on Wednesday as the team faces Zach Thompson and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Jonathan Villar is shifting over to cover second base in the game. It's been a slow start to the season for Madrigal. Over his first four games, he's gone just 1-for-15 at the plate with one walk and two strikeouts. Madrigal has elite contact-hitting abilities, but doesn't offer much else for fantasy purposes.
