Tommy Pham Being Held Out On Wednesday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham (hand) is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Triston McKenzie and the Cleveland Guardians. Aristides Aquino is getting the start in left field and batting fifth in the game. Pham was removed from Tuesday's game after suffering a hand injury during a collision in the outfield with center fielder Nick Senzel. Pham's initial X-rays were negative and Reds manager David Bell stated that Pham appears to be fine, but the team will be holding him out on Wednesday as a precaution. We'll see if he's back in the lineup for Thursday's series opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
