3 years agoUpdating a previous report, Boston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story (illness) likely won't be able to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Story has missed each of the team's last three games with a stomach illness. It was initially reported that he was expected to return on Wednesday, but that is no longer the case. Jonathan Arauz has started at second base in three straight games now and has gone 0-for-7 at the plate over the three-game stretch. The Red Sox are off on Thursday, then the team begins a four-game series with the Minnesota Twins on Friday.
