3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried will make his second start of the year on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. There was some speculation that he'd be the team's starter for Tuesday's game as the team has yet to name a starter for Tuesday, but Braves manager Brian Snitker has stated that the team will go with a sixth starter on Tuesday. The plan is to call up a pair of pitchers from the minor leagues to tandem the start. Bryce Elder, who is currently scheduled to start at Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, is a plausible option as one of the two pitchers.
