3 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story (illness) is not part of the team's starting lineup for Sunday's game against Jordan Montgomery and the New York Yankees. Jonathan Arauz is getting the start at second base and batting ninth in the game. Story is dealing with a non-COVID illness and it sounds like a minor illness. Red Sox manager Alex Cora stated that he hopes it is just a 24-hour type of thing for Story. Cora made it sound as if there's a chance that Story will be available for the team's next game against the Detroit Tigers on Monday. Story has gotten off to a slow start to his first season with the Sox. He went just 1-for-8 with a double, a walk and two strikeouts over his first two games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
