AJ Pollock Exits Saturday's Game Early
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder AJ Pollock (hamstring) exited Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers early with tightness in his right hamstring. He initially injured his hamstring, making the turn around first base after registering a single. The 34-year-old has been ruled out for the game and is considered day-to-day. Pollock was scheduled to take some time off early next week as the White Sox planned on placing the outfielder on the paternity list following the series against the Tigers. Andrew Vaughn replaced him in the game. If Pollock misses an extended period, Vaughn, Gavin Sheets, and Adam Engel should see an uptick in playing time. Stay tuned for further updates.
