Chance Sisco Signs Minors Deal With Twins
3 years agoCatcher Chance Sisco has signed a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins. He will be reporting to Triple-A St. Paul. The 27-year-old split the 2021 season between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets. He appeared in 28 games and slashed .149/.241/.189. He signed with the Seattle Mariners back in March and participated in Spring Training with the club, but the Mariners released him just days before Opening Day. The Twins currently have just two catchers on the big league roster, Gary Sanchez and Ryan Jeffers. If either suffers an injury, there's a good chance Sisco will be promoted.
