Jacob deGrom May Not Make Friday's Start
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) may not make his scheduled Spring Training start on Friday. According to manager Buck Showalter, deGrom has a tight right shoulder. deGrom is tentatively scheduled to start the team's season opener on April 7, but that would potentially change if he's held out of Friday's start. deGrom's 2021 season was derailed by shoulder inflammation and a partial UCL tear. He's been reportedly feeling fine this spring, but any mention of an injury or even just "tightness" will make all Mets fans and fantasy managers uneasy. Make sure to stay tuned for updates on his shoulder and his status for Friday.
