Luka Doncic Logs 30-Point Triple-Double In Three Quarters
3 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic needed only 30 minutes of action across the first three quarters to compile a 30-point triple-double in Tuesday's win over the Lakers. Doncic finished with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists, shooting 12-for-23 overall, including 4-for-12 from behind the arc. Many of the Mavericks saw their minutes capped down the stretch due to the nature of the win, but only Doncic was able to deliver another evening of enormous production. The MVP candidate has now notched 10 triple-doubles this season as he ranks fourth in the league in scoring (28 PPG), 19th in rebounding (9.2), and sixth in assists (8.2). One of those triple-doubles came against Cleveland, back on Nov. 29, who happens to be next on the docket for Doncic on Wednesday.
