3 years agoIt was not the homecoming Matt Brown would have hoped for on Saturday when he dropped a split decision in a striking battle to Bryan Barberena on the main card of UFC's Saturday event in Columbus. In 15 minutes of non-stop action, Brown tallied 81 significant strikes compared to Barberena's 111 significant strikes. The takedown game was working for Brown, who earned five takedowns on seven tries. With the loss, Brown has now dropped three of his last four contests. The 41-year-old has had quite the career, but it's really hard to say how much is left in the tank, much less how much is left for strong fantasy performances.--Matt Bricker
