Deandre Ayton Scores Career-High 35 Points
3 years agoPhoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton helped lead the team to a 125-116 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. He scored a career-high 35 points in the game while shooting 15-for-24 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free throw strike. He connected on his only three-point attempt and also added 14 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal. This was one of the best statistical outings we've seen from Ayton since the Suns took him first overall back in 2018. The 23-year-old is having a solid season overall, but he's really stepped his game up in March. Through 12 games this month, he's averaging 20.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game while shooting 66.3% from the field and 91.3% from the free throw line.
