Max Domi Traded To Hurricanes Monday Afternoon
3 years agoLeft-winger Max Domi was almost certainly going to be moved, but few could have expected a deal in the waning moments of the trade deadline. That is what happened on Monday, as the left-winger became a member of the Carolina Hurricanes. The trade works out where Domi could easily find himself in a top-six role. Domi had nine goals and 23 assists in 53 games for the Columbus Blue Jackets this season. He had four assists in his final five games despite playing what amounted to be fourth-line minutes. Expect the forward to play more than the 13:25 of ice time a night he had in Columbus.

Max Domi Placed On Injured Reserve
4 months agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi (lower body) will miss Wednesday's contest against Vegas after he was placed on Injured Reserve. The move is retroactive to Nov. 16, meaning Domi will be eligible to return on Sunday versus Utah. Domi recently replaced Auston Matthews (upper body) in the top six but has been ineffective offensively. The 29-year-old sits on a 13-game point drought. Toronto's attack is also without David Kampf (lower body) and Calle Jarnkrok (groin), putting the team in a tough position. Pontus Holmberg will move to the second line for Wednesday's game. He has been limited to two assists in 17 games this season.

Maple Leafs Open To Tyler Bertuzzi, Max Domi Reunions
10 months agoThe Toronto Maple Leafs are reportedly interested in bringing back veteran forwards Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi as long as it makes sense for both parties, according to The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. Both players signed one-year pacts with the Leafs last offseason and both got off to slow starts before getting things turned around offensively and finishing the season on the flanks of superstar center Auston Matthews. Bertuzzi finished the season with 21 goals and 43 points across 80 games but also tallied 15 goals and 23 points across his final 34 regular-season games. For his part, Domi recorded nine goals and 38 points in 80 games, including 17 points across his final 21 contests.
