Isaiah Livers Earns Praise From Coach Dwane Casey
3 years agoDetroit Pistons rookie forward Isaiah Livers earned praise from head coach Dwane Casey following the team's 105-98 loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday. Casey was impressed with Livers on both the defensive end and offensive end of the floor, particularly noting his ability to challenge shots and make the right passes. Casey stated, "I'm really impressed with the young man and the way he's playing. He's finding his way into the core of our group with the way he's playing." Livers played a season-high 32 minutes on Tuesday and wound up setting season-highs in points (16), three-pointers (four) and rebounds (6). The Pistons were a bit short-handed without fellow rookie Cade Cunningham (illness) on Tuesday, but it's safe to say that Livers should continue to see around 20 minutes per game for at least the next week or so. He's worth keeping an eye on for fantasy managers in deep leagues.
