3 years agoIn a battle of hard-hitting Brazilian strikers, Alex Pereira came out on top in his battle with Bruno Silva on Saturday by taking a unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). The former GLORY champion landed 108 significant strikes (165 total strikes) in 15 minutes of action. Pereira also stuffed six of Silva's eight takedown tries on the night, showing his evolving MMA game. Pereira is absolutely a dangerous fighter to keep an eye on as he continues to climb the middleweight ladder. He should always be a consideration for your fight-night lineups.--Matt Bricker
