3 years agoThe San Diego Padres are "aggressively shopping" first baseman Eric Hosmer and outfielder Wil Myers, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. Both players are owed a significant amount of money this coming season, which could make dealing them a problem. Hosmer slashed .269/.337/.395 with 12 home runs, 65 RBI and 53 runs over 151 games last year. Myers, meanwhile, played in 146 games in 2021 and hit .256/.334/.434 with 17 home runs, 63 RBI and 56 runs. If the Padres move both players and don't add replacements, we could see Jurickson Profar move into an everyday role, though he's not someone who is particularly enticing for fantasy purposes.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
