ANALYSIS: As ridiculous as it sounds, HC Tom Thibodeau has turned clear-cut wing Alec Burks into a point guard. I am not saying it has worked, no sir, but Thibs is so stubborn that he's just forcing this square peg into a round hole. I guess we fantasy GMs can't complain that much when that is basically meaning that Burks is logging his good 28 MPG on the year and a staggering 34 MPG since the NBA came back from the break.
Burks has started 29 games this season, but only five at his natural SG/SF position. The Knicks lack a solid point guard, obviously, but going from that to deploying a guy whose skill set doesn't quite fit the role, welp. That won't change this deep into the season, though, so rest assured you're making a good addition if you go with AB. Burks is good, don't get it wrong, only played at the wrong spot. Burks is scoring 12 PPG in the past eight games after the break, and he's adding 7 RPG, almost 4 APG, and 1+ stock per game.
The three-pointers keep coming Burks' way (1+ in each of the past eight games without fail; 2.3 3PM per game in the past eight games; 2.8 per in the past five) though the shooting is far from fantastic (41% from the floor since coming back from the ASB, below-40% in the past four matches). Burks is kinda good on the boards for a point guard, though obviously, he is not a point guard, so that's reasonable. Bouncy turnovers, but good enough numbers on the steals and blocks cats (0.8+ per game each in March) as to make up a bit for that negative.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
